How did Bernie get so fucked over? Because the party that he was running for hated him. The guy who could've (and should've) won is detested by his own party memebers that control the apparatus of the party. The DNC. Who is the DNC? They are a group of people that get together and do the Democratic Party. Kinda like people get together and do a Burning Man camp. They're an art group. Sure they are. They are selecting members. Who will then select who runs the DNC. When is this election?

IT'S TOMORROW, SUNDAY JANUARY 8TH.

You should vote (if you're a registered Democrat like me). Here is the text from the reform side of the Democratic Party: http://www.reformdems.com/platform

ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 17 ADEM - VOTER INFO:

Day: January 8, 2017

Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm

3271 18th St San Francisco, CA 94110

The SF Reform Democrats a diverse coalition of local community advocates banding together to fight Trump and the corporate Democrats who allowed him to become president. We believe that the Democratic Party will best defend its values of equal rights and treatment across lines of race, gender identity, religion, ethnicity, and sexual orientation when it represents the 99%, not the 1%.

We support:

Keith Ellison for DNC chair (this guy is a Muslim, he is endorsed by Bernie)

Medicare-for-all healthcare

Free quality public education K-through-college

Sanctuary cities and undocumented immigrants

Campaign finance reform

Affordable housing, rent control, & Elis Act reform

Criminal justice reform & ending systemic racism

Rights of workers to organize

Divesting from dirty fossil fuels and promote environmental justice for all Californians

(editors note: I'd like to see Universal Basic Income on this list in the next two years)

PLATFORM
What are ADEMs?

Every two years, the CA Democrats elect 7 women and 7 men from each Assembly District in CA as delegates to the state party. Those who are elected will have a chance to vote for the new party chair and other leadership. The race is hotly contested and will determine whether the party will become grassroots-focused and innovative or will remain beholden to big money interests.

Delegates elect Party officers, endorse candidates for statewide, legislative and congressional office, attend the annual convention, network with other Democrats, represent your constituency, promote the California Democratic Party agenda, and vote to endorse resolutions and ballot measures.

You get 14 votes for delegates, 1 of which you must also vote for Executive Board Representative.

This email list is that of Showman Chicken John Rinaldi of San Francisco. You can keep up with his shenanigans and opinions by being on this list. If you would like to be included in a list to announce shows, that would be on the SFIOP.org site. This is for personal writing and such. He posts a few times a week at most. You sound much more important when you speak about yourself in the 3rd person. At least I do when I talk about me as 'him'.
