OK, first of all tomorrow, Saturday, we are painting more signs and building stuff at NIMBY, if ya wanna come help.
June 16th and 17th, there is a weekend at NIMBY of building for YOUR boats. I have a huge stack of lumber and stuff. Email me your ideas. If no one emails, there is no build weekend. It's for you, all my stuff will be done by then.
Camp Tispy is a 3 day event. You should really come on Thursday night, so you have Fri, Sat and Sun there. Coming to Camp Tipsy Saturday afternoon and leaveing Sunday sucks. Don't do that. Work it out. If you are going to drive all that way and do all that stuff, make it worth it. You will wish you did if you didn't.
Camp Tipsy is a camping trip and a rotten boat building contest. Whoever builds the worst boat wins. The contest is Sunday at Noon.
Last year, our little spot filled up pretty quick. This year, we are making a few SLIGHT organizational improvements:
There are 6 camping areas, A-F. The point is area A. Where you first drive up (near the feeder road to the main road) is area F.
Area A and B is for kids and their parents. This will fill up quick. Please remember that there are lots of other people, don't spread out. There is no saving spots. No putting up tents for neighbors. Don't do it. Whatever happens, happens. A and B are super quiet zones. After 10 PM, everywhere else is just quiet.
Between area B and C is the kitchen, the shop and the boat launch. If you are arriving at night, we encourage you to park your car in F, and walk in and see what you wanna do. Driving around the camp at night looking for a place to set up tents with your headlight sucks. Dont' do it. We have a moon for you to see by.
If you are bringing a kid this child should have a PFD (a life vest). I have a few, if you are broke to lend.
This year with so many people not going to that thing in the desert, there may be more people then we think. I need to plan for this. If you are planning on going, can you tell me please?

Also, we need STYROFOAM!!! Huge blocks, if anyone has a source....
